Our client, a consumer-packaged goods company, is looking for a passionate, dynamic, and innovative eCommerce Manager, that can execute all aspects of their ecommerce strategy for a portfolio of brands. This role combines sales, marketing, and technology to help grow the business.

Reporting into the Head of eCommerce, the eCommerce Manager is responsible for working on the portfolio of brands from A-Z, and drives sales within the eCommerce ecosystem. This position will be critical in directly managing the company’s eCommerce business.

 

Responsibilities:

 

Sales & Operations

  • Maintain health of the Amazon flywheel to sustain growth of existing items and ensure quick ramp-up of new items.
  • Work closely agency partners to optimize always-on campaigns (SEM, Amazon Ads, Social, and other e-Retailers (Criteo, Walmart, etc.).
  • Deliver annual eCommerce objectives and assist in the presentation of weekly and monthly reporting dashboards to report performance against KPIs across our digital channels.
  • Execute launch plans for new products on Amazon and other ecommerce platforms by working cross-functionally on communication priorities and tactics.
  • Work with Sales and NPD, to conduct portfolio audits and action channel-specific strategies to grow our business on multiple fronts.
  • Assist in the development of accurate forecasting and order planning to achieve sales goals.

Marketing:

  • Manage “active” online catalog merchandising and oversee search engine optimization where brands are available (Amazon, Target, Walmart, etc.).
  • Ensure a superior online customer experience by working closely with various stakeholders on all site executions, including new product launches, strategic and promotional initiatives, content updates, plus continuous site optimizations.
  • Liaising with Marketing to optimize brand merchandising and consumer experience based on sales forecast (SEO, Rich Content, Brand Stores).
  • Work cross-functionally with the Marketing Team to develop digital marketing campaigns to support seasonal objectives across our digital marketing channels.

Other

  • Perform other duties as assigned by Management. Including by not limited to working with finance on budget tracking, Operations on troubleshooting, and NPD on Pipeline Research.
  • Stay up to date on trends and opportunities in eCommerce and apply thorough understanding of all E-retailer requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure all aspects of the business are working according to plan

Some of What You’ll Need:

  • 3-5 years experience in eCommerce and consumer goods
  • Deep knowledge of Amazon (1P & 3P) with proven success in growing brands and navigating the Amazon ecosystem.
  • Deep knowledge of SEM management, experience with Skai (Kenshoo) or a like platform is a major plus.
  • Comfortable building projection models which factor seasonality and evolving budgets
  • Basic understanding or experience with BazaarVoice, Salsify/Syndigo or like PIM system.
  • E-Retail Marketplace experience (Walmart.com, Target.com, Homedepot.com, Costco is a bonus.
  • Understanding of the retail landscape and how on-shelf assortment changes can impact eCommerce strategy.
  • Experience with consumer products and a sound understanding of how to execute a successful product launch and facilitate growth for existing product lines.
