Reporting to a Director of Client Strategy, we are seeking a highly skilled and strategic-minded Account Manager of Client Strategy to join our team. The Account Manager will be responsible for building and maintaining strong client relationships, providing strategic direction, and managing the successful day to day execution of projects across multiple commerce platforms. This role requires strong communication and relationship-building skills as well as operational excellence.

The Account Manager owns the day to day operations for client accounts while contributing to the overall strategic value that our agency delivers.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Serve as the main point of contact and trusted advisor for assigned clients, establishing and nurturing strong relationships based on trust, collaboration, and exceptional service.

  • Understand clients’ brand(s), business objectives, challenges, and target audience to develop customized strategies that align with their goals.

  • Monitor and analyze key performance metrics, providing regular reporting and insights to clients, and making data-driven recommendations for improvement.

  • Coordinate all aspects of the client account collaborating with cross-functionals in Creative, Analytics, Media and Project Management, to ensure flawless execution of programs.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, retail media networks, emerging technologies, and best practices to bring ideas to clients and ensure they are at the forefront of innovation.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Proven experience (6+ years) in a client-facing role within an agency (eCommerce, Shopper, Digital Marketing), with a focus on client strategy, eCommerce and/or omni-channel campaign management.

  • Solid understanding of retail landscape, retail media networks, technologies, platforms, and best practices.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex strategies and concepts to clients and internal stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated success in building and maintaining strong internal and external relationships, with a solutions-oriented approach.

  • Operational excellence including strong attention to detail, project management skills and a proven ability to manage multiple clients or tasks simultaneously.

  • Proficiency in eCommerce platforms is not mandatory but certainly welcomed (Amazon, Walmart.com, Shopify, Digital Media, Omnichannel Retail, etc.).
