About the Company
Our client is a global consumer brand with an advanced, fast-scaling marketplace team and an ambition to triple the business over the next five years. The company combines a professional scale-up environment with a passionate, close-knit team, and is investing in a global 7-figure Amazon advertising budget to fuel that growth.
Role Overview
The Amazon Advertising Lead will be the architect of the company's global Amazon advertising strategy. This is not a campaign management role; the company needs a visionary who breathes Amazon Marketing Cloud (AMC) and knows exactly how to orchestrate Sponsored Products (SP), Sponsored Brands (SB), Sponsored Display (SD), and DSP into a high-performing, full-funnel engine. This person will have the autonomy to make high-impact decisions and the budget to back them up, reporting directly to the Head of Marketplaces and working closely with the Head of Growth.
Areas of Responsibility
- Own the strategy and execution of a global 7-figure Amazon advertising budget, focusing on hyper-scaling while maintaining healthy efficiency.
- Architect and optimize complex campaign structures across all ad products (SP, SB, SD & DSP) to dominate the customer journey from awareness to conversion.
- Leverage Amazon Marketing Cloud (AMC) to solve attribution challenges, analyze path-to-purchase, and prove the cross-channel impact of ad spend.
- Stay ahead of the curve by testing the latest Amazon betas and features, tracking how algorithm updates impact performance and pivoting accordingly.
- Translate complex datasets into clear growth roadmaps and weekly performance insights for the executive team.
- Work closely with Supply Chain and Content teams to align ad spend with inventory levels and high-converting creative assets.
What You Bring
- 5+ years of deep, hands-on experience in Amazon Advertising; a background as an Ads Performance Specialist (or similar) at Amazon itself is a significant advantage.
- Mastery of the Amazon DSP and Advertising Console, with the technical proficiency to utilize AMC for advanced querying and data-driven decision-making.
- Comfort managing multi-million dollar budgets and a proven track record of driving sustainable growth for large-scale accounts.
- Highly data-driven, with strong skills in Excel and SQL, never making a strategic move without the data to back it up.
- Excellent command of English, written and verbal.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to take full responsibility for a global P&L.
