About the Role
Our client is a global leader in the design, sourcing, manufacturing, and distribution of apparel with a diverse portfolio of owned, licensed, and private label brands. They are seeking an Amazon Marketplace Manager to help drive rapid growth across Amazon, leveraging merchandising, operational, analytical, and strategic initiatives to accelerate sales growth, strengthen brand positioning, and optimize the customer experience.
The ideal candidate is highly analytical, commercially minded, and passionate about eCommerce. This individual will serve as a key stakeholder in the continued growth of the Amazon business, helping build scalable, best-in-class marketplace programs across a diverse brand portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Own day-to-day marketplace performance across Amazon, driving sales growth, assortment optimization, operational execution, and strategic initiatives
- Serve as a subject matter expert for Amazon content optimization, catalog management, marketplace best practices, brand consistency, and digital performance analytics
- Identify opportunities to expand product assortments and increase market share through competitive analysis, category research, and strategic portfolio planning
- Develop and manage promotional strategies and marketplace calendars, including Deals, Coupons, Vine programs, and seasonal events
- Analyze sales performance, traffic trends, conversion metrics, customer behavior, and marketplace analytics to identify growth opportunities
- Monitor revenue, margin, promotional performance, inventory health, and key business KPIs to make data-driven recommendations
- Partner with internal teams to support Amazon inventory planning and forecasting: monitor sales velocity, weeks of supply, and FBA inventory levels
- Drive and maintain a clean marketplace presence with strong pricing integrity, optimized product presentation, and consistent brand standards
- Launch, maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize product listings to improve discoverability, conversion, and organic ranking
- Maintain account health by proactively monitoring policy compliance, listing quality, shipping metrics, customer feedback, and operational performance
- Stay current on Amazon and eCommerce marketplace trends, algorithm changes, tools, and best practices
- Identify and evaluate opportunities for expansion into Amazon international marketplaces
Qualifications
- 4 to 6 years of experience with Amazon Seller Central, Vendor Central, and/or other eCommerce marketplaces
- Experience with Rithum, ChannelAdvisor, or similar marketplace integration platforms preferred
- Proven track record of driving eCommerce sales growth and marketplace performance
- Strategic and resourceful thinker with strong business acumen and commercial decision-making skills
- Strong analytical capabilities with experience interpreting marketplace analytics, customer journey insights, and attribution data
- Highly effective communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational, project management, and problem-solving abilities
