Our client, a well-established global eCommerce services company is looking for a Director of Sales within the eCommerce, Crossborder B2C / D2C industry with a proven record of success and experience in sales and leading sales team to achieve success. This person will be responsible for leading, expanding, and developing a national sales team, increasing revenue, and profit growth.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

-A minimum of ten years of B2C/DTC parcel delivery sales experience is required, including a minimum of 4 years of experience with leading a team and individual performers.
-Developing new business through prospecting, assessing customer needs, communicating solutions, pricing, negotiations, and onboarding.
-Consistent collaboration with existing customers to conduct QBR (Quarterly Business Review) presentations, addressing issues, proposing customer change and engaging internal teams to enhance the overall customer experience.
-Experience working with internal customer support teams to assist customers effectively and efficiently.
-Comprehensive expertise in cross-border technology, including knowledge of leading providers and the ability to effectively grasp, communicate, and present technology solutions to US Sellers.
-Extensive professional network of relationships within eCommerce, with a specific focus on cross-border.
-An established sales management framework and processes to efficiently lead a team.
-Ability to formulate, build, execute, and implement new processes to ensure success.
-A successful track record showing ability to meet targets consistently without diverting from company’s strategy and goals.
-Demonstrated ability to master all aspects of the sales process and consultative selling.

-A Sales skillset that includes drive and self-motivation, strong interpersonal, and communication skills, the ability to plan, organize, close, deliver, and the capacity to work autonomously.
-Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Prefers direct and honest communication with superiors, peers, and direct reports.
-Outstanding organizational, problem solving, and multi-tasking skills.
-High level of discipline, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment while still maintaining a high-level of accuracy.

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Drive Revenue Growth:
-Drive sales revenue and profit, resulting in a significant increase in company revenue and earnings.
Sales Team Leadership:
-Foster a high-performance selling team environment through your experience and innovative thinking, leading to improved team motivation and productivity.
-Coach, lead, and motivate the sales team to generate more opportunities and acquire new customers, resulting in increased sales and market share.
-Lead the team in maintaining consistent communication and value with our current customer base, ensuring that the company delivers superb experience and value to our clients. This approach aims to strengthen long-term customer relationships and ultimately drive revenue growth.
Performance Management:
-Set and achieve individual and team revenue targets, ensuring consistent revenue growth and exceeding sales goals.
-Continuously monitor and assess individual and company sales performance, taking corrective actions as needed, resulting in improved sales efficiency and effectiveness.
-Identify and implement strategies to bridge sales forecast gaps, leading to more accurate revenue projections and better resource allocation.
CRM and Data Management:
-Ensure strict team compliance and accountability with CRM and prospecting tools, leading to a well-organized and data-driven sales process.

-Focus on accurate sales opportunity management, quoting, forecasting, win/loss analysis, and competitor information, resulting in better-informed decision-making and increased win rates.
-Manage sales to maintain up-to-date customer contacts, enhancing customer relationship management and communication.
-Market Insights and Planning:
-Lead sales efforts in cross-border education initiatives, covering delivery, technology, markets, and industry players, resulting in expanded market presence and revenue streams.
-Participate in market potential assessments and sales expense estimates, enabling more informed resource allocation and budget planning.
-Develop and implement strategies for aggressive sales growth, leading to increased market share and revenue.
Communication and Strategy:
-Develop innovative ways to communicate the company’s story and strengths, resulting in improved brand recognition and customer loyalty.
-Refine or recreate the sales process and go-to-market strategy for improved customer success and increased revenue, leading to more satisfied customers and higher sales.
Field Support and Customer Engagement:
-Dedicate a minimum of 40% of your time to being in the field for individual sales coaching, supporting their development and maintaining strong customer relationships, resulting in improved individual sales performance and customer satisfaction.
-Enhance customer success by improving communication and understanding of customer needs, leading to increased customer retention and repeat business.
