About the Company
Our client is a high-growth social commerce SaaS startup building the next generation of AI-powered sales tools for consumer brands. Their platform helps brands turn social comments, DMs, and mentions into actionable customer intelligence, driving personalized sales conversations at scale. Based in Beverly Hills, they operate in fast-paced sprint cycles and are obsessed with building beautiful, functional products that solve real problems for merchants.
Role Overview
They are looking for a talented, user-centric Product Designer to join their growing team. Your primary focus will be designing intuitive, high-fidelity digital products that solve complex workflows for merchants. You will sit face-to-face with clients to gather feedback, conduct user research, and rapidly translate those insights into wireframes, prototypes, and polished interfaces, partnering closely with engineering to see your designs through to production.
What You'll Do
- End-to-End Product Design: Own the entire design process from user research, journey mapping, and wireframing to high-fidelity UI, prototyping, and developer handoff
- User Research & Feedback: Conduct client interviews and analyze user behavior to uncover merchant pain points, turning qualitative feedback into actionable design solutions
- Interface & Interaction Design: Craft clean, modern, accessible user interfaces that simplify complex data dashboards and eCommerce workflows
- Rapid Prototyping: Build interactive prototypes to quickly validate ideas internally and test concepts directly with merchants in fast, agile sprint cycles
- Design-to-Engineering Collaboration: Work closely with engineering to ensure design feasibility, streamline handoff, and guarantee visual QA on shipped features
- Design Systems: Contribute to and scale the internal UI component library and design system to ensure consistency across the product suite
What You Bring
- 1 to 3 years of experience as a Product Designer, UX/UI Designer, or Interaction Designer, ideally in a fast-paced B2B SaaS or startup environment
- A strong portfolio demonstrating your user-centered design process, wireframes, prototypes, and polished high-fidelity UI work (required for consideration)
- Strong eCommerce background: you understand online shopping funnels, merchant administration workflows, and conversion optimization patterns
- Shopify ecosystem experience is a major plus (designing Shopify apps, customized storefronts, or building within eCommerce constraints)
- Proficiency in Figma or similar modern prototyping tools
- Excellent communication skills: able to articulate design decisions clearly to both technical and business stakeholders
- A bias for action and comfort with ambiguity in a fast-scaling startup environment
Please note: A portfolio is required for consideration. This is a full-time, in-office role in Beverly Hills, CA. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. Employment-based visa sponsorship is not available at this time.
