This position reports to the VP of IT. The role requires you to have expert knowledge of PowerBI and Alteryx (or similar) in addition to working knowledge of integrations between common D2C / CPG applications. We utilize Shopify, Acumatica (ERP), SQL Server and BigQuery. You will work with external vendors that are either data sources (i.e. Marketing Platforms) or support the integration infrastructure (managed services)

 

Being part of a small team of highly skilled individuals means that you are self-motivated and have great time management skills. You are an effective communicator, can gather and refine requirements on the fly and set realistic expectations with your internal customers.

 

You need to be confident in your skillset and able to work with stakeholders across all levels of the organization to deliver reporting and, more importantly, crucial business insights. While role has a major focus on eCommerce KPIs (including but not limited to customer CAC and LTV, product affinity and conversion optimization) there are other focus areas that include Supply Chain / Operations and Finance.

 

This is a very hands-on role that will frequently require you to build ad-hoc reports, help troubleshoot data quality issues if the arise and many things in between. Working with various data and file formats should be second nature (CSV, JSON, XML, etc). Writing technically advanced queries and optimizing their performance is another key skill that is important to be successful in this role.

 

We are currently migrating to Mulesoft (Anypoint) for all our integration needs using managed services. The role may require you to monitor and execute tasks, supporting existing integrations until they are replaced.

 

All team members have a voice when it comes to the direction of our BI Strategy and tooling. We heavily rely on our personal experience in addition to working with external advisors.

 

You should be a well-versed in the Digital Media / Web Analytics / AdTech space.

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

 

BSc/BA in Computer Science, IT or relevant field

 

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • 5+ Years of experience working in CPG/Retail Analytics with focus on eCommerce, Marketing and AdTech

  • 3+ Years of hands-on work with Microsoft PowerBI, BigQuery and/or SQL (or equivalent)

  • 3+ Years of hands-on work with ETL/Analytics tools (Alteryx, Azure Data Factory, Talend, Mulesoft)

  • Working knowledge of security best practices related to data access and storage Familiarity working with sensitive data PCI/PII and regulations like CCPA, CPRA
