High-growth digital agency seeks a Sr. eCommerce Advertising Strategist to make data driven decisions and provide proactive strategies to help client’s grow sales on Amazon and other marketplaces. This individual demonstrates skill at driving business growth and influencing strategic change. The ideal candidate will be able to manage interesting and complex clients independently as well as lead day to day client engagement around e-commerce media performance and strategy. You will also drive adoption and support for our data driven products.


Responsibilities:


-Drive Strategy/Campaign Creation: Developing campaign strategy and tracking online marketing campaigns on Amazon as well as new emerging platforms.

-Campaign Management: Successfully optimize campaigns daily, utilizing proprietary software to ensure campaigns are meeting client’s KPI’s.

-Strategic Reporting: You will drive the client calls and monitor campaign activity against approved budgets, providing clients with daily, weekly & monthly advertising performance reports.

-Consulting: The Sr. eCommerce Advertising Specialist will act as a partner for our clients and consult with them around investment levels, product assortment and media backing while highlighting opportunities for the client and helping to rectify any potential issues that may arise.

-You will be responsible for pay-per-click advertising as well as programmatic advertising on Amazon’s DSP.

-Own advertising performance for an assigned set of clients.

-Lead client engagements and drive strategy discussions.

-Understand client business goals, set and execute an Amazon strategy that aligns with their priorities.

-Help clients plan and develop a budget and then deliver campaigns according to KPIs agreed to with the client.

-Utilize proprietary technology to develop keyword research during the campaign creation process.

-Work closely with our account management, data, content, and sales teams to maximize performance for the client’s business and to quickly identify and resolve any client issues.

-Provide guidance on product optimizations to ensure campaigns are set up for success, Managing keyword selection and optimum bid levels across available advertising options.

-Develop and manage reporting, analytics, and performance insights for digital marketing campaigns.

-Establish key metric reports, track progress and trends, and effectively communicate campaign results and insights.

-Frequent and professional client interaction via email, phone, and in-person (sometimes).

-Provide strategic recommendations around pricing and promotions to effectively meet sales goals.

-Stay up to date on best practices for selling on Amazon and assist in training other team members.


Qualifications:


-Bachelor’s Degree or related experience.

-3+ years’ experience B2C digital advertising, with an emphasis on Amazon paid search & programmatic advertising.

-Knowledge of Amazon Seller Central, Amazon Vendor Central, Amazon Retail Analytics, Amazon Marketing Services.

-Hands-on experience operating the Amazon DSP.

-Experience working for an advertising agency or brand selling heavily on Amazon.

-Digital marketing and/or quantitative analytics experience.

-Strong analytical skills, with adequate knowledge of Microsoft Excel or Google sheets—pivot tables and ‘VLOOKUP’;

-Detail-oriented, good project management and organizational skills.

-Experience in developing, managing, and analyzing online advertising campaigns.

-Possess strong interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.

-Innovative, scrappy, and independent thinker with the ability to influence using data;

-Ability to thrive in dynamic and demanding situations with minimum supervision.
