About the Role
Our client is a fast-growing, digitally native pet wellness brand focused on delivering high-quality, thoughtfully formulated nutrition and products for dogs. With a strong foundation in direct-to-consumer and a growing omnichannel presence, they are on a mission to improve the lives of pets and their people through better ingredients, smarter formulations, and a more modern customer experience.
They are seeking a highly strategic and execution-focused leader to serve as SVP/GM or COO. This individual will play a critical role in driving the next phase of growth, owning the day-to-day business while shaping long-term strategy across channels. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in DTC, performance marketing, and omnichannel expansion, paired with a strong understanding of how creative drives scalable growth.
What You'll Do
- Own and lead overall business performance, including revenue growth, profitability, and operational execution
- Drive and optimize DTC performance marketing, including paid media, website conversion, and customer acquisition strategy
- Lead omnichannel expansion, with hands-on experience across Amazon, wholesale, and retail partnerships
- Partner closely with marketing and creative teams to develop and scale high-performing content across channels
- Identify and unlock new growth opportunities across distribution, product, and customer segments
- Build and refine systems, processes, and infrastructure to support rapid and sustainable scaling
- Serve as a key thought partner to the founder and leadership team on strategy, growth, and execution
What We're Looking For
- Deep experience in direct-to-consumer (DTC) businesses, with a strong grasp of performance marketing and eCommerce fundamentals
- Proven track record of scaling high-growth brands or businesses
- Strong understanding of creative strategy and content, and how it fuels acquisition and brand growth at scale
- Experience across omnichannel environments, including Amazon and wholesale/retail distribution
- Highly analytical, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and strategy
- Operator mindset: able to think strategically and execute at a high level
- Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence cross-functional teams
- Based in (or willing to relocate to) the tri-state area, ideally Connecticut
