About the Company
Our client is a global electronics and appliance brand with a growing footprint across Amazon, Walmart, Costco, and other major retail marketplaces (name withheld for confidentiality). The company is looking to bring on an experienced eCommerce Account Executive to help scale its marketplace business and sharpen its go-to-market execution as it launches new products.
Role Overview
The eCommerce Account Executive will drive revenue growth and own account-level profit and loss across Amazon (Vendor & Seller Central), Walmart, Costco, and emerging platforms. This is a data-driven, hands-on role: the ideal candidate will track trade spend, promotional budgets, and retailer margins closely, dig into sales data to uncover trends, and lead go-to-market strategy for new product launches, including reverse-engineering approaches to win the Amazon and Walmart search algorithms. The role partners closely with marketing, supply chain, and product development to keep every channel aligned with brand goals.
Areas of Responsibility
- Develop and execute high-impact sales strategies to exceed revenue targets across Amazon (Vendor & Seller Central), Walmart, Costco, and emerging platforms.
- Own account-level profit and loss, meticulously tracking trade spend, promotional budgets, and retailer margins to ensure healthy, scalable profitability.
- Deep-dive into complex sales data, margins, and fees to track performance, uncover market trends, and pivot strategy based on hard data.
- Spearhead go-to-market strategy for new product launches, reverse-engineering approaches to win the Amazon and Walmart search algorithms.
- Manage dynamic promotional calendars and collaborate on aggressive PPC advertising strategies.
- Partner cross-functionally with marketing, supply chain, and product development teams to ensure channels are supported and aligned with brand goals.
What You Bring
- 5+ years of experience in eCommerce.
- Proven track record directly managing Amazon (both 1P and 3P experience), Walmart, and Costco.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of P&L management, margin structures, trade spend, and retailer profitability metrics.
- High proficiency analyzing complex data sets to build business cases and drive decisions.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary of $80K–$120K per year, depending on experience.
- Based in Cerritos, CA.
