Adam Rose is the founder and CEO of eCommerce Placement, a specialized recruiting firm he started in 2010 to focus exclusively on eCommerce and digital commerce talent, at a time when most recruiting firms treated eCommerce as a minor subset of retail or marketing.

Before founding eCommerce Placement, Adam built his recruiting career in corporate talent acquisition at Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, AIG, and Pfizer. He then served as the sole Recruiting Manager at Borderfree, scaling the company from 40 to 300 employees prior to its acquisition by Pitney Bowes, experience that shaped how he thinks about hiring for hypergrowth eCommerce teams.

Adam holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Master's degree in HR Management from Rutgers University. That background in psychology and organizational behavior informs how eCommerce Placement evaluates candidates: not just for skills on a resume, but for how someone actually operates inside a fast-moving eCommerce team.

Adam later founded Commerce Staffing, a sister agency extending the same specialized approach into Retail and Omnichannel recruiting, and Rose Digital Performance, a web design and optimization practice. He writes regularly on eCommerce hiring strategy and is active on LinkedIn.
