Successful Placements- August, 2023

We had a huge month in July. Here are a few placements we are super proud of:

Sydney Loden came through with three placements for a faith-based apparel company we have been collaborating with on a significant hiring project. The roles we have been working on with them have ranged in levels from associate to c-suite executives.

Graphic Designer

About the Role: Our client was in search of graphic designers that had a deep understanding of the Christian niche. Sydney was able to find the perfect designer who was involved with a very similar company in the same space.

The Interview Process: The industry norm for graphic designers is to require sample work during the interview process. Our client was so confident in this candidate’s abilities they forego this step in favor of more conversational interviews focused on getting to know the candidate and ensure a perfect culture fit.

Content & Social Media Strategist

The Interview Process: Sydney’s candidate blew the interview process out of the water by taking it upon themselves to create a spreadsheet of her experience and how it applied to each aspect of the role. This above and beyond attitude complimented by an excellent three round interview process sealed the deal for our client.

Client Feedback: Our client got in touch with Sydney almost a month after onboarding and reported that new-hire is doing an amazing job and let her know how happy they are having this candidate on the team.

Chief Financial Officer

About the Role: This was a straight-forward CFO role requiring experience with a rapidly growing eCommerce business. Our client is in hyper growth mode exceeding every goal they have set for themselves since their inception five years ago. Sydney was able to find an exceptional candidate for them through her direct sourcing efforts on LinkedIn.

The Interview Process: One of the aspects we love about recruiting for this client is their commitment to being succinct. For this role, there were three rounds of interviews within the quickest timeframe that worked for both client and candidate. Each round was very conversational, focusing on who the candidate is and how they could mutually benefit each other.

Kathryn Wade made a HUGE placement this month- Head of eCommerce- for a well established client in the consumer goods space. This company has a wide portfolio of electronic brands intended to help consumers in their homes.

The Interview Process: The interview process was extremely quick. Kathryn’s candidate spoke with the hiring manager and was scheduled for a second round interview within a day. They had a final phone call with the hiring manager, sent references, and the position was offered to them. Overall, it took about a week.

Client Feedback: The hiring manager let us know that she enjoyed our candidate’s personality, professionalism, and experience in homewares with a large corporation in addition to a smaller startup.

Reagan Cooper was able to place a Customer Experience Manager with a high-growth apparel company. This position was intended to optimize their customer support efforts in order to handle a higher volume of customers. Reagan was able to find the perfect candidate from a similar company through direct sourcing efforts.

The Interview Process: This process consisted of two official interview rounds and a final phone call to handle negotiations and finalize the details. Everything was fast paced, an offer was received quickly, and the candidate was able to start shortly after.

Client Feedback: Our client was extremely happy with this candidate. They called us personally to say how impressed they were that we “hit it out of the park” with this one!
